The NAMES PROJECT

This is a pitch for one of my favorite groups, The AIDS Memorial Quilt which makes visible the enormity and the intimacy of the cost of
AIDS. It's also a great place to send any extra fabric, notions, ribbons, buttons, feathers, or fur that you've been saving for the perfect
project some day. Your clutter could become someone else's inspiration. Send your panel making care packages to: Gert McMullin, The NAMES Project Foundation,
637 Hoke Street, Atlanta, GA  30318  (tip from Gail Altschuler, Novato, CA)

Prescription Eyeglasses

Site for Sore Eyes

various locations around the Bay Area

Cell Phones

Check with your provider

some accept donations of old phones, and may even give you some money back if it's a newer model.
